Gifted and Talented Education
Marion City Schools' Gifted and Talented Education Department believes in providing the best education for each student. The department understands that students with the ability for high achievement require education designed to help them reach their full potential.
According to Ohio Revised Code 3324.01, "gifted" means students who perform or show the potential of performing at a remarkably high level of accomplishment when compared to others of their age, experience or environment. The gifted and talented department works to screen and identify children whom are gifted and give them an opportunity to benefit from gifted services.
